Filtration membranes for the microbiological analysis of water samples.
Microsart® e.motion Membrane Filters (ME), sterile, gridded are widely used for microbiological quality control. Cellulose nitrate filters (mixed cellulose ester) contain a mixture of cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate, a material which assures effective retention combined with high flow rates and optimal colony growth. Eto sterilization.
Dispenser versions (ME DIS) for the use with the Microsart® e.motion dispenser. The filters are individually sterile-sealed on a band without any protective paper. The special pleating as well as the shape of the sealing of the band of membrane filters ensures a perfectly flat and uniform dispensing of the individual membrane filters. Gamma irradiated, 25 kGray
- Outstanding recovery rates for microorganisms,
- 0.45 µm filters acc. to ISO 7704,
- The morphology and color of microorganisms be clearly identified
- Extremely fast filtration rate, high flow membranes
- Unique grid lines make counting easy
- In accordance with the following norms: ISO 7704, ISO 7899-2, ISO 8199, ISO 9308-1 and EN 12780.
Polycarbonate Track-Etched Membrane Filters (PC) filters are manufactured from high quality polycarbonate film using track-etch technology which provides a uniform and precise pore structure.
- Sharply defined pore sizes for accurate separation and retention of particles
- Smooth and translucent surface for excellent visibility of the retained particles
- Capture of the particles on the surface of the filter for precise quantification and reading under light microscopes or for SEM
Polyethersulfone Membrane Filters (PES). Membrane filters are hydrophilic- have high flow rates- a low non-specific protein adsorption and are chemically resistant over a pH range of 1 – 14. The low level of extractables makes them suitable for environmental analysis.
