Reactivo Nin (Ninhidrina)
For the differentiation between group B streptococcus and other ß-hemolytic streptococcus by the hippurate hydrolysis test. A suspension of bacteria is added to the hippurate solution and incubated for 2 hours. Then, the ninhydrin developer is added.
