Within the framework for sustainability at the Chemical Plant, and as an objective of reducing its carbon footprint, Scharlab has installed solar panels at its Chemical Plant which will be able to generate 30% of the electrical energy consumed at the facility.
Once the feasibility study for the Project was carried out, four of the roof sections on the buildings were fitted with 220 solar panels, capable of generating 164,300 kWh/year. The installation will be monitored by the installer through specific software to ensure optimum performance throughout the working life of the panels.
Taking advantage of solar energy, a renewable, clean and inexhaustible source, allows us to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to environmental preservation. The self-consumption of the energy generated at Scharlab’s facilities allows Scharlab to reduce electricity costs and be a more environmentally sustainable company.
Keep subtracting to add to the environment!
