5L Stackable Jerrycans

As part of Scharlab’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, the current 5L plastic jerrycans will be replaced with a newly designed model.

The primary feature of this new container is its stackability. This design optimises storage efficiency by allowing units to be securely stacked, thereby maximising space utilisation while ensuring safe handling and stability.

The stackable design has also eliminated the need for the protective plastic bag previously used to shield the bottle, as stacking significantly reduces dust accumulation.

Another key improvement is the reduced plastic content of each jerrycan. The new model is manufactured using 15% less plastic than the previous version, contributing to a substantial reduction in plastic waste generation.

With this transition, Scharlab aims to enhance the efficiency and safety of storage while reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability through waste reduction.

Due to regulatory certification requirements, all concentrated sulphuric acid references will continue to be packaged in the previous jerrycan model for the time being.
