Scharlab obtains the REDUZCO Carbon Footprint label
As part of Scharlab’s integrated management policy aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our activities, we have obtained the REDUZCO Carbon Footprint label.
Since 2019, SCHARLAB has been calculating the carbon footprint of its activities in order to understand and reduce its environmental impact.
To obtain the REDUZCO label, the company had to demonstrate that its average CO2 emissions for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 were lower than its average for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021. This achievement by the environmental team was made possible thanks to investments such as the installation of solar panels, improvements in energy consumption in the cooling towers, the installation of natural gas for the boilers and the reduction in fuel consumption, among others.
This continues to demonstrate SCHARLAB’s long-standing vision of reducing its impact on the environment and long-term sustainability for its business.
