Method: Volatile Organic Componds in Water. EPA Method 502.1 identifies volatile halogenated organic compounds, in water, by purge and trap gas chromatography.
EPA Method 502.2 is an enhanced and expanded version 502.1. It is a general purpose method for the identification and measurement of purgeble volatile organic compounds in finished drinking water, raw source water, or drinking water in any treatment stage.
