The hydrometer oscillates a U-shaped glass tube in order to quickly and automatically measure the density of liquid samples. It can automatically convert density to other units and concentrations, such as specific gravity, API degrees, alcohol percentage and degrees Brix, among others. Scharlau pycnometers are made of Schott Duran® 3.3. borosilicate glass tubes for measuring the density or specific gravity of any liquid by gravimetry at a certain temperature. We have both Gay-Lussac and Renault models available. Viscometers are used to calculate the viscosity of a liquid by measuring the time it takes for a certain volume to pass through a capillary tube. We have Ubbelohde and Cannon-Fenske viscometers for transparent liquids, and Cannon-Fenske models for opaque liquids. They are delivered with a batch calibration certificate and optionally with an individual or ENAC certificate.
