SIEVE SHAKERS

Sieve shakers are devices that carry out the separation of particles in granular samples based on the size of said particles. They consist of multiple sieves containing a mesh, stacked on top of each other. Each sieve has a different mesh size, determining the particle size it allows to pass through. Electromagnetic sieve shakers generate vibration, while air-sweep sieve shakers operate through air movement. They are particularly used for granulometric tests of fine particles, samples prone to aggregation or clumping, as well as for granulometric tests of large sample volumes. The sieves and mesh size adhere to strict international standards. They can be calibrated both in terms of timer settings and equipment vibration amplitude.
