GLOVE BOXES

Gloveboxes are hermetically sealed structures that allow safe handling of substances or samples under controlled conditions, while maintaining an isolated environment. They are equipped with integrated gloves so that operators can handle objects and perform tasks inside the box without compromising the internal environment. They are widely used in scientific and research settings, such as for handling sensitive chemicals, hazardous materials, biological agents, powdered APIs or samples sensitive to contamination. Depending on the application, they can operate under an inert (argon or nitrogen), dry or sterile atmosphere, amongst others.
