Water, oil, sand and paraffin baths are appliances designed to maintain a constant, controlled temperature in vessels containing liquids or solids in the laboratory. Thermostatic baths, for both internal and external applications, control the temperature of samples and test equipment. Dynamic temperature control systems guarantee optimal reactor temperature control by very quickly and reliably compensating for exothermic and endothermic reactions. They are apt for use in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories, as well as in pilot plants and industrial processes. Closed-loop chillers are refrigeration systems designed to cool an external device, such as a rotary evaporator, Soxhlet extractor, distillation system, refractometer, spectrometer or gas chromatograph. Ultrasonic baths are used to clean and decontaminate labware using ultrasound waves. The baths generate high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations in a cleaning fluid, creating a cavitation effect that removes dirt, particles and contaminants from the surface of objects submerged in the fluid. They efficiently clean a wide range of lab apparatus and materials, including metal items, glassware, plastics, medical devices and electronic components, among others.
