MORTARS

Grind, crush and pulverize laboratory substances with a porcelain or agate mortar and pestle. The inside of porcelain mortars can be coated with a thin layer of glass, so they can be used to crush samples that require a high degree of purity or acid or corrosive substances that can damage porcelain. Agate mortars have a high hardness and abrasion resistance and are suitable for hard, brittle samples. We have mortars of different capacities and sizes and pestles of different lengths and diameters.
