FILTRATION

Filtration is a very common technique in laboratories and widely used in many analytical processes in both chemistry and microbiology. Filtration plays an important role in sectors such as the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, environmental monitoring, water monitoring and research. A wide range of filters can be used depending on the application and aim, for instance, laboratory filter papers, extraction cartridges, quartz or glass microfibre filters, syringe filters, mobile phase membrane filters or microbiology membrane filters, among others. Accessories are also needed to carry out filtration procedures: glassware, filtration systems, filtration ramps, monitors and funnels, vacuum equipment, fat extractors.
