Counters with a digital camera and a high technology software that can be linked to a PC via a FireWire connection. They count all colonies on a Petri dish in less than 1 second and provide a complete, fast, accurate and traceable reading of the result.
Counting can be done on different plates depending on model:
Scan® 300: on Petri dish surface, mass and Spiral (55-90mm).
Scan® 500: on Petri dish surface, mass and Spiral (55-90mm), chromogenic Petri dish and inhibition zones.
Scan® 1200: on Petri dish surface, mass and Spiral (55-90mm), chromogenic Petri dish and inhibition zones, Compact Dry®, Petri Film®, RIDA® count/Sanita kun® and Petri dishes with filtration membranes.
Scan® 4000: color HD automatic colony counter, fits all sizes of Petri dishes and all culture media. It even allows reading of square plates of 120 mm and 150 mm petri plates. Its indirect lighting ensures great comfort of use, high precision and excellent reproducibility.
