TN3100 portable turbidity meter is specifically designed to measure water turbidity. It combines the scattered light method and the transmitted light method, using an infrared light source to eliminate color interference. For its operation, the TN3100 portable turbidimeter uses two detectors at 90º and 180º respectively. The 180º detector receives the transmitted light and the 90º detector receives the scattered light. The intensity of both lights is used to calculate the turbidity value of the sample.
