Cole-Parmer CB-200D-IB Electronic Ice Bucket is ideal for chilling or incubating any number or size of tubes for long periods of time. It is an excellent alternative to wet ice buckets. In addition, the max temperature of 40 ºC means that the unit is suitable for other applications such as ligation and enzyme reactions where a constant temperature close to ambient temperatures is required.rThe removable bucket that sits inside the unit is filled with ceramic-coated beads that both maintain the user-set temperature and support the sample vessels. The ceramic beads are chemically resistant and can be autoclaved up to 134 ºC for reuse.rThe cooling plate will reach 4 °C relatively quickly in an ambient temperature of 20 °C, but may take several hours to reach 0 °C.
