Tygon® 3350 tube
Tygon® 3350 is platinum-cured silicone tubing with an ultra-smooth inner bore for sanitary transfer of sensitive fluids. It inhibits particle entrapment and microscopic build-up during fluid transfer because of its smooth inner surface. Internal testing has shown Tygon® 3350 to be up to 3 times smoother than alternate choices in the market. It boosts flow characteristics of media because of the reduced surface area. It is compounded to meet the most demanding requirements of biocompatibility. Tygon® 3350 can be autoclaved with steam for 30 minutes at 15 psi, 121°C or sterilized by ethylene oxide (EtO) gas or gamma radiation up to 5.0 Mrad. The tubing meets USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR guidelines and ISO 10993 standard for contact with blood and has a Master File with FDA. Tygon® 3350 has durometer hardness of 50 (Shore A), tensile strength of 10 MPa and ultimate elongation of 770%.
