The in-line prefilter has virtually no dead volume and can be used in several applications without peak broadening being observed or loss of efficiency. The 0.25mm prefilter, is designed for use between the autoinjector/injection valve and the column.It is used for UHPLC equipment, with a maximum pressure of 1000bar/14.500psi. With a minimal dead volume and available in porosities of 0.5, 2 or 5µm, these in-line prefilters are suitable as column protectors. 2µm frits are recommended for columns with particle size >= 5µm and the frits of 0,5µm for smaller particle sizes.rrThe precolumn filter reduces the number of connections as compared to a traditional prefilter, increasing the stability and reducing the potential losses. It is the ideal column protector.rThe smaller bore sizes (0.15 in the body and 0.13 in the tube) ensure a minimal hold-up volume (virtually zero). With a dead volume of zero and available in 0.5, 2 or 5µm. It can be connected to any 1/16' column tube. It is suitable for UHPLC because of the maximum pressure of 1000 bar/14,500 psi.r
